Key West!!!

Finally two of my favorite people ever, decided to tie the knot....these two are very un-traditional people and they decided to have a destination wedding in Key West full of bar-hopping, co-ed bacheleorette parties, Cuban food, poker lessons, and plenty of fabulous beach! I had the opportunity to fly out and witness them sealing the deal! I love Amy and Brandon and for the three years that I have known them there has never been a dull moment! I am so happy for them both and I want to say Congratulations! Jessica and I...
Amy and I....

All the girls....

Brandon with the ladies....

The complete wedding party...

Car pictures....we had to wait out the rain right before the ceremony...luckily it all clearedup in time for them to still have the ceremony on the beach!

Just finished getting ready...

Party....

Party....

And more party....

Finally...more party.

Us girls at the apartment Amy and Brandon rented for us! Thanks for the accomodations, memories, and the laughs. Also...thanks Austin, Jessica, and Tom for the poker lessons...Even though Tom beat me by two measley pieces of candy...I'd say I am pretty good. ;)

Alcatraz and one last night in SF...

We went to Alcatraz on our final day in SF before we all flew out to our separate ways...we did get the chance to have dinner at an incredible french restaurant called Garcon for our last night in SF...

Leaving SF....

Our yummy dinner...I highly recommend the rosemary pork loin....unbelievable!
This trip was amazing despite the fact that we didn't leave the country. I am so blessed to have close friends who are such adventurers and who offer me such love and support even though we all live apart now. I look forward to many more years of incredible travels, great adventures, unforgettable experiences, delish food, and learning opportunities....Thanks girls!!! I love you!

Temple stops in Fresno and Oakland...

On all of our trips if there are temples in the area we stop to take a few pics...this has given us the opportunity to see a lot of temples worldwide...Fresno of course was a selfish reason for me to stop and see some other friends for lunch....and Oakland....well lets just say that it is one of my favs....we got to go there twice since RiLee accidentally left the video camera in the bathroom....good thing we realized it before we all flew back to our homes!!!

Hoover Dam and Las Vegas...

Next we traveled to Las Vegas and stopped by the Hoover Dam and the Las Vegas temple. Vegas has never been my favorite place but we had an amazing pool at the Excalibur and with good friends just about anything can be fabulous. We spent hours playing cards...(Skipbo) and sunbathing. It was great to have some good chat time too. We really miss that living so far apart!

I couldn't believe it when I heard that not only was this Jenn's first time going to Vegas but her and Jill had never had a burger from In-and-out! I was apalled...this is the only fast food place I ever eat at anymore. We each ordered from the "secret" menu and RiLee paid! Thanks Ri!

You are supposed to rub the feet of these winged creatures for good luck...given that I am naturally unlucky I figured I would avoid this since I was afraid it might make my luck situation even worse!!!
Here we are in different states...the story of our lives for the last four plus years!!!

The Grand Canyon...

The next stop on our road trip was the Grand Canyon....I haven't been there since I was a child and I have wanted to hike through it for some time now...We couldn't have asked for better weather. We camped for a couple of nights....it was fantastic!

Ghiradelli chocolate for our "gourmet smores"...yum!

This is about the moment that we discovered that our "four man tent" was really a mis-labled "three man"...good thing we invested in a large car so we could fit one sleeper in there!

Of course we cooked our own food over the fire....without a stove and tongs we had to get pretty resourceful...
